Mountains and Work

I had a dream last night that I was at a hotel conference with the people I work with.  We were in this sleek, black hotel.  I had a meeting in the library (why do I always dream about being in the library??) and I knew my closer friends from work weren't going to be in the meeting, which I was down about.  Then as I was sitting in the meeting, I looked out the windows and saw the most gorgeous snow capped mountains.  My first thought was, "there aren't mountains like this in Georgia!!" (we were just in Colorado Springs at a work conference... which looked like my dream).  I saw the snow up close out the window and wanted to walk around and take photos.  Then I was in the outdoor hotel gift shop with my boss and best friend, Kim, and one co-worker.  My boss offered to buy me a souvanier from the gift shop and I looked around but didn't see anything.  Then Kim announced that she was having a party and my co-worker complained that she wasn't invited.  Kim said, "It's not that I don't like you, but I just am not inviting everyone from OM to my party."  That is all I remember!!! 

Selah as a Model

I recently had a dream about my daughter Selah.  In the dream, she was a small child of 2 or 3 and I was dressing her in a cute pink lacy romper type outfit.  I was buttoning up the back, and someone said it looked like lingerie.  I argued that it was a little girl outfit, and when I looked back at her, she was all grown up and BEAUTIFUL!  She looked like Mandy Moore.  I asked someone to take a photo of us, and she was so much taller than me.  Then I looked at her again, and she looked different again- with blonde hair instead of dark hair, and wearing a black dress.  In the dream I knew she was a model.  Not sure if it means anything.

Pastel Colored Snakes

A week or so ago, I had a dream that I was at my mother's house in NY. I was outside the house, barefoot, and I was surrounded by pastel colored snakes on the ground. They were lots of colors, pink, baby blue, light yellow, and light green. I was trying to dodge them as I ran in a circle around the house, and then up the stoop, trying to get inside. As I approached the stoop, I saw two baby snakes on top of each other. They were dark in color, like a dark brown or black. I knew they were dangerous, even though they were small.

I think I have the interpretation of this dream. The childish lies that I grew up believing are dangerous, even if they seem small.

I need to pray about what they are... but I think I may have an idea of what they are.

Blues and a Necklace

I had a dream last night that I was in a sort of classroom, with long tables and lots small hand held mirrors. There was a bluish tint all around the tables. I was sitting next to a very intimidating girl, who reached over when I wasn't looking, and tried to steal my beaded necklace that was sitting right on the table. I saw her out of the corner of my eye and grabbed it before she was able to take it, and she was about to call out something and in a loud voice I called to the "teacher" of the classroom and said that she stole my necklace. Then I tried to hurt her and bite her fingers, haha. In the end I won the fight, and she left.

I think the dream means that the enemy is trying to intimidate me, and steal my inheritance and value with sadness and depression (the color blue). But I am able to fight back and win.

What is interesting is that yesterday I was reading a lot on Spiritual warfare and the armor of God in Galatians yesterday...

Prison Dream

I was in line to go through Security to get into a prison. I knew I hadn't done anything wrong, but when it was my turn to go through, the guy who was sitting at security had papers on me, and asked me what I had done wrong to get in. I protested, and said I didn't do anything wrong and wasn't going in. Before I knew it, they stuck a needle in my arm and drugged me. When I realized what happened, I was inside the prison. It looked like a large concrete maze, and I had to find my way to my cell. As I was wandering around, I came across a large pool with lots of girls from the prison in the pool, playing and having fun. I jumped in to join them and they told me I could get in trouble, because I hadn't yet earned the privilege to use the pool. I wasn't concerned.

Magical Boat Ride Dream

Last night I had a dream that Phil and I were in Europe. We had a 5 or 6 year old son, who I had this feeling about like he was so incredibly precious, pure, and innocent. He was sitting on Phil's shoulders. We got onto a boat in the night time, with the lights shimmering on all the buildings. The man who was collecting money for the boat said that Phil and I could get on for a set price, but we would have to pay per hour for our son being on the boat. Then we floated through the sky on the boatride, and then into deep dark waters. I tried taking photos with my camera at one point, but the camera had gotten wet and wouldn't work anymore. We floated into this long hallway with natural light, and floating fruit (grapes). There was an old woman at the end of the hallway, and I tried to take her picture but she didn't want it taken and my camera wouldn't work.

So, Sarah the dream is about you! You and Phil are on a adventurous journey into the deeper, mysterious things of God. Phil has carried most of the weight of this pursuit so far, but you are (and have been ) transitioning into a time of greater participation in God's supernatural realm. It costs you more to take this path than some other you might choose, but you know that it is a precious gift from God and have decided to go forward. You can already see some fruit from this - new wine! Great dream...sail on!!!

Nightmare with the Blue and Black Snake

Last night I had a nightmare that we had three dogs- two little dogs that I didn't care much for, and Riley. Phil told me something had attacked the dogs when we weren't looking, and he brought the first one in. Half of the dogs body was missing- mangled and bloody. Then he brought the second dog in, less mangled, but still dead. I had a slight bit of hope that Riley was even less hurt still and that we might be able to save her, but when he brought her in I saw that whatever had attacked her had taken a huge chunk of her stomach out. She was dead. I wanted to know what had done this, and then I saw it: a big black snake in our backyard with a vibrant blue pattern on it's back. It was hidden very well but we finally saw it, after the damage was done.

According to the Streams Ministries manual, the black snake represents deception, lies, and it's poisonous (makes sense since it killed the dogs, and in the dream I had a sense that the snake was poisonous). The blue on the snake also represents a spirit of depression. Dogs represent your best friends. The backyard represents things of the past...

I'm putting it all together, and its making sense to me.

A little post on INTEGRITY

I found some Bible verses on integrity. Right now I am dealing with a situation in which someone I know is NOT having integrity at ALL, and my husband and I are suffering a lot because of it. If you're reading this, please pray for justice!

Integrity means doing what is right and correct even if noone is watching!
